Women & Wine – Geoscience with Emily Snode-Brenneman

Sip, Science, Repeat!
Join us for a fun event with Emily Snode-Brenneman from the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research’s Center for Science Education (UCAR SciEd) as we blend the world of wine with the wonders of science!
Raise a glass and ignite your curiosity as you create your very own glowing atmosphere lantern and learn firsthand how UCAR SciEd engages all learners to explore and understand our Earth. Our hands-on craft will light up your night and bring the fascinating science of Earth’s atmosphere to life—no lab coat required!
UCAR SciEd serves the geoscience community by amplifying and complementing the work of the U.S. NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) and the UCAR member universities by reaching K-12 educators, faculty, students, and the public through engaging educational programs and experiences. UCAR SciEd manages the NSF NCAR Mesa Laboratory Visitor Center exhibits and public programs.
